Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA): Bilingual in Russian and English (language testing may be required) Types of jobs this recruitment will fill will be regular full time, limited duration (LDA- valid for upto 2 years) or part positions, on-call positions (up to 20 hours per week) or temporary positions (40 hours a week up to 6 months) or float (different locations and schedule) positions. There will be an add on premium if the position requires using additional language than English on a regular or ad hoc basis. The Medical Assistant provides clinical support to the patient care team directed towards the prevention of disease and promotion of health using professional clinical support for quality patient care. This position works as part of a care delivery team and works closely with physicians and mid-level providers and other team members to help ensure the delivery of high quality patient care. As the Medical Assistant you will: Provide Patient follow-up (i.e.: after visit instructions, setting appointments, patient education, communicate normal lab results and reminder phone calls) Support back office clinic flow and time management for providers. Prepare patients for exams and procedures. Review immunizations, forecast and administer immunizations for clients of all ages. Perform medical treatments such as simple would care, ear irrigations, suture removal and fluoride treatments. Ensure the exam room is stocked, cleaned and ready for use. Provide back-up lab duties including phlebotomy and processing labs. Complete assigned Quality Control/Assurance activities Provide back-up to the preventative MA.
