Job Overview:
We are seeking a people-loving person to join our team as a barista & customer service rep at our vintage vibes retail gift shop. The ideal candidate will have a passion for serving people, crafting delicious beverages, and maintaining an immaculately clean, vibrant and welcoming atmosphere for our customers.

As a team member you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while also contributing to the overall success and inclusive atmosphere of our shop.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a barista.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and outgoing demeanor.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, remaining calm and focused under pressure.
• Passion for coffee, tea, and other beverages, with a desire to continually learn and improve.
• Attention to detail and commitment to upholding high standards of quality and cleanliness.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

Work schedule is flexible however weekend availability is required. Base wage plus tips with potential for an increase at completion of 90 days.

Job Highlights:

• Assisting Customers: Engage with customers in a friendly and helpful manner, taking orders, and providing recommendations on beverages and gift items.
• Crafting Drinks: Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality beverages, including coffee, tea, specialty drinks, food items, and more, with a focus on consistency and excellence.
• Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the barista station, including equipment, utensils, and work areas, in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Receiving Inventory and Pricing: Assist with receiving and organizing inventory shipments, as well as pricing and displaying products.
• Content Creation: Take informal photos to be used in our social media.

Job Type: Part-time
