Learn more at merative.com Field Service Engineers work under moderate supervision and report to the Executive Delivery Specialist. Team members are responsible for the installation, configuration, and testing of our virtual and physical solutions in accordance to quality processes and procedures. Extensive travel and customer success skills required. Essential Job Duties Basic configuration to Linux/Windows servers and Windows workstations Production Builds in house per sales orders processed through the Merge ERP system (IFS) Build, Install, Configure, and test virtual and physical solutions per procedures either in house or onsite at the clients location Follow all Build/Installation procedures and complete all installation/qualification checklists in a timely manner to adhere to the QMS (Quality Management System) Provide our partners with a positive and successful integration experience Perform electronic and network enterprise tests per procedures provided by the Manufacturing Engineers Keep detailed electronic documentation (DHRs) Assist Manufacturing Engineers in development of configuration and test procedures Understands that projects worked on have a direct impact on patient safety Understands that all patient information that may be encountered is to be treated as confidential and not to be disclosed under any circumstances Pursues a program of self-development through the use of selected reading, seminars, and participation in continuing education. Identifies and communicates possible improvements in the work process for customers and peers. Performs other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or upper management. Basic Qualifications Highly flexible, multi-tasking skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment. Accepts positive change in the rapidly changing Healthcare IT industry Focused and quality driven Strong communications and writing skills. Strong leadership and facilitation skills. A proven and unwavering commitment to delivering results A valid driver’s license and safe driving record is required. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Education Requirements Associate Degree in Electronics Technology Engineering or Computer Science Engineering or equivalent degree or experience. A , CISCO, and MCSE certifications are desirable.
