Learn more at merative.com Working under minimal supervision, this position coordinates all shipments for Merge Healthcare, controls the Inventory Warehouse, Receives & Inspects all product incoming to Merge & Manages Non-conforming Materials. Ensures quality for shipment and cost for overall Merge Healthcare shipments. Principle Responsibilities & Duties Responsible for shipping all customer orders from Hartland WI Manages shipment & shop orders for all orders Records shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability Ships customer orders using parcel and freight carriers Performs ongoing cost reduction in packaging and shipping Ships items for: Sales orders for to clients Internal Shipments Tradeshow shipping and coordination RMA from customer for production and support related activities any other outgoing packages from the Hartland facility Completes receiving transactions in the Merge ERP (IFS) Receives, verify shipments, tag product and put away of materials Receives and appropriately disperses customer returned products as well as non-inventory items. Processes all Production related RMA’s. Schedules/Pulls internal Manufacturing builds Work with leadership on order forecasting. Assist in manufacturing product and kitting. Create and perform inspections on product when received Operate fork lifts to stack and retrieve supplies and materials Utilizes hand truck, forklift, truck, or other handling equipment to move material to and from various areas within facility Responsibilities also include documenting and maintaining inventory and ensuring warehouse area organization and cleanliness Reports & manages all nonconforming materials Performs Cycle counting of Inventory on a daily basis Identifies and communicates possible improvements in the work process for customers and peers. Performs other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or upper management. Basic Qualifications Knowledge of processes involved with the warehousing of material Knowledge of material movement processes Knowledge of Cycle Count processes Attention to detail involved in each shipment Demonstrated ability in reading, writing and mathematical skills Demonstrated communication skills - both written and oral Ability to understand budget and corporate responsibility Ability to work as part of a team Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Basic Qualifications – Preferred Experience in International Shipping & Receiving or Inventory Control Knowledge of Microsoft programs Knowledge of IFS (ERP business system) Knowledge of shipping company software Forklift license – if not certified, will be required to receive on the job certification Education Requirements High School Diploma It is the policy of Merative to provide equal employment opportunity (EEO) to all persons regardless of age, color, national origin, citizenship status, physical or mental disability, race, religion, creed, gender, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, genetic information, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.
