You would be a part of a large team of six nurses, 20 Medical Assistants (MAs) and 15 Patient Service Representatives (PSRs).
The Medical Assistant at AMG Chicago Ravenswood’s role is primarily rooming and vialing patients, as well as managing telephone and patient portal messages. We staff our own lab, where you will also train since we provide comprehensive training. While we are a Family Medicine practice, we have a large pediatric population and administer many injections and vaccines, along with a wide range of socioeconomically and culturally diverse patients. Spanish speaking is not required, but a plus, as it is our next most utilized language. Our Medical Assistants also play a larger role in Population Health management and supporting positive health outcomes for patients.
