Description

The Filmmaker is responsible for creating and executing video projects for 12Stone Creative and Marketing when necessary. This person would have experience as a front to back film producer (not just a specialist in one area of filmmaking).

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Write video scripts
• Produce film shoots
• Direct film shoots
• Maintain and catalog film equipment
• Work with editors, producers, and graphic designers to finalize projects
• Participate in series ideation meetings
• Ensure compliance with company guidelines, deadlines, and design standards
• Train promising volunteers in video production

• Have a passion to serve the local church.

Experience:

• Have experience running and directing film shoots
• Has lead a team of filmmakers
• Have experience writing scripts and preparing shot lists
• A thorough understanding of the major NLEs, (Creative Suite, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer)
• Have a thorough understanding of cinematography and composition
• Experience working with professional and nonprofessional onscreen talent
• Exemplary oral & written skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Knowledge of motion graphics is a plus
