Title: User Experience Designer (UI/UX) UI/UX Designer KBR is seeking a UI/UX Designer in Colorado Springs, CO. KBR Software Developers, work for our government customer Space CAMP and Platform One, developing breakthrough products and innovative software applications using Agile DevSecOps. As a UI/UX Designer you will work in a balanced team with a Product Manager, and other Software Engineers. We are looking for a UI/UX Designer who is versatile, enjoy working in a fast-based environment, like to consistently tackle new problems and exceed customers’ expectations. Duties and Responsibilities: Deliver creative, development ready design assets to developers who implement the website across various platforms, and work closely with them to ensure the final build is consistent with the intended vision. Propose multiple options for designs, including design elements, style guides, templates and finished solutions. Participate in user testing and research as needed. Provide team guidance on overall look and feel and enforcement of design standards. Requirements: Bachelors of Science Information Technology (or related discipline) Minimum 2 years of experience designing for large and small scale websites and apps. Working knowledge of design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD Working knowledge of Agile methodologies (Prefer Agile XP) Knowledge of UX design across desktop/mobile/responsive websites Knowledge/experience of CSS, Bootstrap, Javascript, HTML5, Angular and RestAPI Excellent work ethic and ability to meet deadlines Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills Strong presentation and persuasive skills Portfolio demonstrating the required experience and skills Possess a serious passion for designing interfaces and unique, intuitive experiences Ability to map your design decisions to user needs as well as business requirements Able to excite end users with exceptional design Excellent visual design skills a must **Must be able to obtain and hold a security clearance The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
