Title: APS-3: Logistics Supervisor (ISSA) Belong, Connect, Grow, with KBR! Program Summary KBR maintains and manages Army prepositioned stocks at the Army Field Support Battalion - Charleston (AFSBn-CHS) land site and aboard ship to include all logistics and maintenance operations. The KBR APS-3 Program is managed and executed at Goose Creek, SC in support of the Army’s power projection doctrine and resources. The contract provides maintenance of APS-3 stocks (Class II, IIIP, IV, VII, IX) to ensure that unit sets stored aboard marine vessels are configured and maintained at optimal readiness. KBR provides limited maintenance and supply support aboard ship to ensure that equipment sets are maintained in a ready condition for emergency download and issue to operating units at the direction of the US Army. KBR also provides maintenance services and logistical support for other Army programs, IAW individual scope of work contract requirements. Job Summary This position supports the APS-3 mission in Goose Creek, SC, Joint Base Charleston. The candidate will be responsible for the supervision of a scaled down version of an Installation Supply Support Activity (ISSA) Section, to include the receiving, storage, and shipment of items. The position reports to a Supply Support Activity (SSA) Manager. Roles and Responsibilities Ensuring all tasks are completed based on the performance work statement, CDRLS, workload guidance, DoD Regulations, etc. Ensure that all standard operating procedures, work instructions, and other approved processes are being followed and updated as needed. Supervise and make routine day-to-day decisions affecting the employees and mission to include direct-hire and sub-contracted employees. Provide information as needed regarding section. Ensure that daily tasks are in alignment with the KBR safety program. Understanding of the ISSA operation and its process in GCSS-Army. Understand the process for receiving, storage, and preparing items for shipment. Understanding of the DoD Shelf-Life Program and Shelf-Life Extension System (SLES). Work closely and liaise with Government Personnel Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications) Must be a U.S. Citizen with a valid U.S. Passport Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) Must obtain and maintain local base access. Must possess a valid State Driver’s License. DoD Shelf-Life Certification Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand - between 2 to 3 hours per day. Must be able to walk - between 4 to 5 hours per day. Must be able to Lift - up to 35 lbs. – 50 lbs. periodically. Must be able to squat, kneel, bend, reach and climb periodically. Must be able to work outside and inside in non-climate-controlled environments. Our workforce is paid hourly based on a guaranteed 40-hour work week; the daily schedule is from 6:30 am - 5:00 pm Monday-Thursday (work hours are determined by the hiring manager). This is an hourly exempt position. Overtime will be paid at an hourly straight-time rate for work over 40 hours a week. The APS-3 daily schedule is a 4-day workweek with the potential for overtime during high-demand missions. The APS-3 standard workweek schedule is from 6:30 am - 5:00 pm Monday-Thursday with possible overtime of up to 10 hours (as the mission demands). The APS-3 workforce receives 11 Federal Holidays per year in addition to paid time off.
