STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: Maintains a system to assure that all products manufactured by the division meet customer specifications and achieve quality and reliability levels. Develops quality standards and insures conformity of purchased materials and final products to quality standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Implement statistical control program. Coordinates with other associates to establish quality standards on new or revised products. May supervise and train quality inspectors or other personnel in proper monitoring of quality. Inspects production for imperfections before being stored in warehouse. Enters productivity information into computer to create tags, then tags production. Develop quality standards and insures conformity of purchased materials and final products to quality standards. Maintain system to assure that all products meet quality, reliability, and specifications. Keeps work area clean and orderly. Responsible for conducting all works in a safe manner. May perform other duties as requested. May participate on project teams as requested.
