We are looking for a self-motivated, reliable, and hardworking Production Specialist to join our team!

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, maintain, and shutdown SMT component placement systems for assembly of PCBs. Specifically, Europlacer pick and place, Heller oven, and selective soldering machines.
• Load stencils and apply solder paste.
• Maintain feeders and load components.
• Load PCBs, reels, and trays into proper feeders.
• Hand placement of components onto PCBs.
• Operate basic mechanical tools such as screwdriver, pliers, wrenches, etc.
• Rework assembled PCBs.
• Perform detailed quality inspection of the PCB produced.
• Perform troubleshooting on all machines.
• Perform daily and routine preventative maintenance on all machines and tools according to established procedures and schedules.
• Thoroughly and accurately document activities.
• Manage and maintain the production schedule.
• Manage SMT parts inventory.
• Assist with production of prototypes when needed.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with electrical components and Printed Circuit Board (PCB).
• Experience operating SMT pick and place machine is a plus.
• Knowledge of the components and SMT assembly process including cleaning, inspection, and troubleshooting is a plus.
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain quality of products at all time.
• Basic computer skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
