We are currently seeking a skilled Informatics Nurse with experience in EHR systems, preferably Alora Plus.

Job Summary: The Informatics Nurse will play a crucial role in optimizing our EHR system to improve patient care and streamline clinical operations. This position involves collaborating with clinical and administrative staff to ensure effective use of technology in managing patient information, enhancing data accuracy, and improving overall care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• EHR System Management:
• Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the Alora Plus EHR system.
• Ensure the EHR system is used effectively to capture accurate patient data and support clinical workflows.
• Provide training and ongoing support to staff on the use of the EHR system.
• Data Management and Analysis:
• Monitor data quality and integrity within the EHR system.
• Analyze clinical data to identify trends, inform decision-making, and support quality improvement initiatives.
• Generate reports to assist in the evaluation of patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
• Clinical Support:
• Act as a liaison between clinical staff and IT, ensuring that clinical needs are met through technology solutions.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to develop and implement evidence-based practices within the EHR system.
• Assist in troubleshooting technical issues and provide user support as needed.
• Process Improvement:
• Identify opportunities to enhance clinical workflows and documentation processes using the EHR system.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures related to the use of the EHR system.
• Participate in quality improvement projects and initiatives to enhance patient care and operational performance.

Qualifications:

• Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; or 3 years of nursing experience.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Experience with EHR systems required; experience with Alora Plus highly preferred.

• Strong technical aptitude and proficiency with EHR systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to train and support clinical staff in the use of technology.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and quality.
