We're seeking a Program Coordinatorto lead our fitness center. As our new program coordinator you will :

Reports to Senior Program Manager

Hire, train and supervise qualified staffin operations and customer service

Achieve short- and long-term program goals in accordance with annual strategic planning

Generate reports and manage budget

Establish and maintain a sound, proactive relationship with client liaison

Perform fitness assessments, determine exercise prescriptions and conduct first workouts

Supervise and monitor exercise areas

Oversee group exercise program and instruct classes

Provide support to the overall operations of the Fitness Center through projects; providing customer service and rotations of work in each department

Provide legendary customer service and create an excellent member experience throughout

Maintain a safe, clean and organized working environment in all areas

Attend meetings and development seminars as required

Help maintain systems data and operations, ensuring the member experience is smooth

Manage necessary vendor relationships and bidding for projects or technology solutions

Assist in recruiting efforts as needed

Assist in Sales as needed

Required Qualifications :

7 years experience in fitness environment

7 years experience in management

Nationally recognized Personal Training Certification

Prior experience leading group exercise classes

CPR / AED and First Aid certifications at time of hire

Preferred Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science or Kinesiology or related field

National Group Exercise Certification
