ROLE SUMMARY: The Safety Coordinator will lead the Plant Safety Committee at our West Fargo and Sutton locations, coordinate Safety-First promotions, and coordinate safety trainings throughout the year. Most of the job responsibilities will take place in West Fargo, but travel to Sutton will be required 1-2 times per month. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate Safety-First promotions (Safety Kick-Off, World Safety Day, Etc.) throughout the year Coordinate Better-World promotions (World Water Day, World Environmental Day, America Recycles Day, etc) throughout the year Improve plant performance and achieve KPI targets and close gaps in performance through AB performance program (using root cause analysis, GAP analysis, Routine meeting schedules, Action logs, 5-why's, 5S, Fishbone Diagrams, SDCA, PDCA, Etc.) Lead application and execution of Excellence Program (VPO) Tools Lead Plant's Safety Committee and participate in Plant's Environmental committee Work Place Transport Safety owner, ensure standard visualization is up to date and maintained. Coordinate Safety Training, New Hire Safety training, & ES Communications (Yearly Refresher, Contractor and Visitor, New Hire, Safety in Motion, Mobile Equipment, Visual Boards, etc). Participate in Formal Risk Assessments throughout the facility & provide support for completing risk assessment action items. Coordinate weekly safety walks and analyze findings. Participate in post-incident Root Cause Analysis on Injuries and Safety Incident Observations PPE owner for facilities, budget and safety shoe coordinator. Assist HAACP Leader closing gaps, managing meetings and PRP Audits. Perform sanitation job requirements in accordance with company policies. Load and unload grain trucks and railcars. Operation of a variety of equipment associated with day to day operation of a grain handling facility Perform barley grading and lab quality practices. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED Higher Education and/or Certification in the field of EH&S or OSHA preferred Work Experience to include manufacturing Basic knowledge of grain handling systems Strong, interpersonal, communication, technical/problem solving skills Ability to extract, evaluate, and utilize data for process improvement from applicable systems Effectively manages time between floor and administrative duties SAP Experience Preferred WHY ANHEUSER-BUSCH: Anheuser-Busch has always dreamed big.
