Job Type: Temporary (Fixed Term) (Seasonal) Work Location: Samsung ILP 7001B - New York, NY 10012 Overview: 2020 Companies is seeking full-time temporary Sales Associates to join our team representing our client, Samsung Electronics America! Dates: 7/1/24 – 8/10/24 Hours: Monday – Saturday 10am – 8pm, Sunday 11am – 8pm Pay: $28 - $30/hr Program Conclusion Incentive Location: Retail store within customer experience location *Vehicle is not required for this position. The Sales Associate will promote the client brand directly to consumers by providing assisted selling and product demonstrations within a retail environment. Your Role as a Sales Associate is to: Engage & interact with customers in 1:1 and large group settings with passion, energy, and knowledge of Samsung products Demo Samsung products and position the ecosystem based on consumer lifestyles Assist in sales and customer experience Maintain a high energy and professional attitude at all times Create a memorable and positive experience for customers We are looking for someone who: Has excellent communication skills and experience in consumer-facing environments (sales, customer service, etc.) Always energetic with a big personality and ability to “hype” a group as small as 1, to as large as 100 Interested in one or more areas in technology, social media, gaming, music, Health & Wellness Ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and customers Flexible and adaptable with a passion for teamwork and innovation Job Description: Partner with retail or event management to sell and advocate client products Assist in the sales of products in retail stores, kiosk, and event environments Maintain professional interaction with both customers and fellow employees Courteously welcome customers and offer assistance Direct customers by escorting them to displays; assess needs and suggest products to fit those needs Advise customers by providing information on products Help customers make selections by building customer confidence Audit and record competitive products, promotions, merchandising, displays and customer feedback Contribute to team effort by assisting in launch-related activities, as needed Responsible for accurately tracking and communicating all activity to Retail Operations Ensure the workstation/kiosk is clean, well-organized, functional, and presentable at all times Assist with opening and closing responsibilities of the store or kiosk Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; Business degree preferred Six (6) months prior sales, promotion, retail, telecom, or marketing experience Demonstrated knowledge of products and services Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment Ability to maintain customer confidentiality Work retail and weekend hours What You Can Expect From 2020 Companies We welcome every voice, and we are committed to building a truly inclusive environment where your differences are not just welcomed, they are celebrated.
