Hospitalist Virginia, MN PRACTICE SPECIFICS Essentia Health Virginia Hospital is an 83-bed hospital, Level IV Trauma Center and certified Stroke Ready facility Staffing model of 1 Physician and 1 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) on days and 1 dedicated physician nocturnist Average team census 24-28 patients, includes admissions. Typical 7-day on, 7-day off schedule throughout the year; 175 shifts is considered full-time. Flexible scheduling Hospitalist-run ICU Requires ventilator management for 24-48hrs. Critical Care consults easily accessible.
