- Maintain and improve ergonomics programs to assure compliance with applicable federal, state, local and company EH&S requirements.
- Work with cross functional teams to identify opportunities to develop and implement proactive strategies to prevent ergonomic injuries.
- Develop and delivers ergonomics related training and presentations to promote awareness and compliance.
- Support and implement site injury reduction and ergonomic goals and initiatives.
- Answer employee compliance questions/concerns and influence safe behaviors.
- Conduct first aid and OSHA injury investigations and root cause analysis. Identify corrective actions and track to completion.
- Interpret and apply OSHA, EPA, DOT, NIOSH, ANSI, NFPA, IFC, IBC and other applicable regulations and standards.
- Manage and provide support to other site EH&S program areas, as needed.
- Analysis of leading and lagging safety performance indicators for trends to drive corrective actions.
- Collaborate with individuals and teams across the business.
- Effectively organize, prioritize, and address multiple, simultaneous projects or tasks.
- Bachelors of Science, major in ergonomics, human kinetics, kinesiology, human engineering or a STEM field, or equivalent experience.
- Associate Ergonomics Professional (AEP), Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE).
- Experience with EHS project or program management.
- Experience in providing and/or developing EHS training.
- Secret Clearance – may start uncleared.
- 2-6 years.
- Bachelors.
