As an Associate Media Director, you will play a crucial role in planning and executing media strategies across all video channels, both locally and nationally. This position requires a deep understanding of the media landscape, strong analytical skills, and the ability to effectively manage client relationships.

Hybrid, 3 days onsite

4-5 Month Contract

Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive video media plans that align with client objectives
• Conduct research and analysis on target audience demographics, market trends, and competitor activity
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop creative briefs that effectively communicate campaign objectives
• Oversee the negotiation and buying process for video placements across various channels
• Monitor campaign performance metrics regularly and provide recommendations for optimization
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in order to identify new opportunities for clients
• Manage relationships with external vendors, ensuring timely delivery of assets and accurate billing reconciliation
• Provide strategic guidance to junior team members, fostering their professional growth

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Associate Media Director or similar role within a media agency setting
• Experience specifically focused on planning and buying across offline/video channels is required
• Familiarity with digital channels is also preferred
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data insights into actionable strategies
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) for effective client presentations
• Ability to build strong relationships with clients based on trust & expertise
• Experience with programmatic buying platforms is a plus
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
