Job Description24 Seven is partnering up with an energy company based in Portland, OR to help them find a Communications Specialist to join their team in this part-time opportunity. This is a 6 month, remote contract that is likely to be extended! It is about 20 hours/week, hours are flexible but needs to be between 8-5pm. While on contract, you'd be eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, and sick time. You must live in Oregon or Washington.
Ideal Candidate:
will have a bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience and experience working for a large brand as a communications specialist. You also need News writing experience and have advanced knowledge of grammar, spelling and style.
Job Description:
Write and edit content for our internal communication channels, Translate complex topics and business goals into easy-to-understand language, Consult with business partners to develop and execute on internal communications campaigns
The top priority for the worker over the first few weeks/months on the job is to familiarize with internal communications channels and company's writing style; begin to produce news content.

- News writing skills
- Advanced knowledge of grammar, spelling and style
- Ability to work independently to advance initiatives and storytelling
- Ability to represent information via graphs, graphics, etc.
