Our client, a leader in the healthcare and Life Sciences realm, is looking to bring on a contract Logistics Coordinator/Admin, starting in June 2024 through June 2025, with potential to extend. Role is onsite.

Pay Range: $18-20/hr.

Location: Onsite in Troy, NY

Duration: 1 year (potential to extend)

Schedule: 12pm – 8:30pm, Mon - Fri

Overview:

This role executes the receiving, storing, using, staging, Data entry and distribution of materials required for assembly of product.

Responsibilities:

• Perform physical movement of materials from one area to another.
• Replenish parts and material by stocking shelves in warehouse
• Work with appropriate logistics and production personnel to resolve/prevent part shortages
• Perform cycle audits and physical inventory per schedule.
• Help reconcile inventory discrepancies and report discrepancies to Supervisor
• Comply with EHS & Quality System regulations and policies
• Read and follow work instructions
• Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned
• Maintain warehouse and dock area for cleanliness and organization
• Data entry on movement of parts

Qualifications:

• High school Diploma or local equivalent
• Proficient in basic mathematics
• Ability to communicate well and work with others
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to consistently lift up to 50lbs
• Able to use pallet jacks

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 or more years’ experience in storing and material handling
• Knowledge of computerized material flow methods
• Basic knowledge of quality and inventory control
• Oracle experience preferred will train correct person
