Job Overview:

Step into the role of Front Desk Receptionist, where you become the welcoming face of our vibrant apartment community. As the first point of contact for residents, guests, and vendors, you hold the key to creating lasting impressions. Your pivotal role involves not just managing the front desk, but curating a seamless and delightful experience for everyone who walks through our doors. From expertly handling administrative tasks to radiating warmth in every interaction, you play a vital part in making our community a place where hospitality meets efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service:
  • Greet and assist residents, prospects, short-term guests, and vendors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Respond to inquiries, provide information, and address concerns promptly and courteously.
  • Handle phone calls and direct them to the appropriate departments or individuals.
  • Front Desk Management:
  • Monitor and maintain the lobby area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and welcoming.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
  • Maintain a log of visitors and ensure security protocols are followed.
  • Administrative Support:
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as property systems, data entry, and record-keeping.
  • Coordinate appointments, meetings, and events for residents and management.
  • Manage reservation systems for common areas and amenities.

Leasing Support:

  • Conduct property tours for potential residents, highlighting the features and benefits of the community, and provide information on leasing terms and conditions..
  • Assist in the administrative leasing process, including application review, lease preparation, and move-in coordination.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to meet leasing targets and contribute to the overall success of the property.
  • Assist with short-term rental platform to secure 30 day reservations.
  • Communication:
  • Effectively communicate with residents regarding announcements, events, and building policies.
  • Collaborate with building management to relay important information to residents and short-term rental guests.
  • Security:
  • Monitor security cameras and report any suspicious activity.
  • Issue and manage access cards or keys for residents and authorized personnel.
  • Problem Resolution:
  • Address and resolve resident concerns or issues, escalating to management when necessary.
  • Coordinate with maintenance and other relevant departments to address building-related issues.

Working Conditions:

  • Typically work regular business hours, but may include evenings or weekends.
  • The role may require standing for extended periods and occasionally lifting/moving light objects.

This job description serves as a general guideline and may vary based on the specific requirements and policies of the apartment building.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant experience is a plus.
  • Previous experience in customer service, front desk, or administrative roles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of basic security procedures is desirable.

Compensation:

  • $18-20/hour (full-time, non-exempt role; eligible for overtime)
  • Commission of $200 per deal for every long-term lease secured
  • Brand new studio apartment is included in the compensation package (after successful completion of first 90-day introductory period)! Market Rental Value ~$2000 per month. You would serve as the onsite resident manager.
  • Eligible for annual performance bonuses
  • Position available: Immediately for the position
