Mungo Homes is adding a Land Analyst to our team in the Charlotte, NC market!
This position is responsible for supporting our Land Acquisition Operations. The ideal candidate will assist in a range of functions involving land analysis, and project coordination. This role is crucial for maintaining efficient operations and supporting our team in delivering high-quality residential building projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (performs other duties as assigned)
- Proforma and cash flow modeling.
- Prepare land committee approval packages.
- Maintain and organize land files and trackers.
- Monitor and update on changes in Unified Development Ordinances (UDO’s) and other municipal regulations.
- Present updates on how new changes affect land planning and product selection.
- Manage comprehensive databases, including land vision data, utility maps, and comparative market analysis (CMA’s).
- Track active and future building projects, rezonings, and utility developments in the Charlotte MSA.
- Prepare and send out regular updates highlighting new builder rezonings, city projects, economic drivers, and community sales trends.
- Keep detailed records and notes on under-contract sites, closed sites, and evaluating sites.

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 4-year college degree, Finance/Management/Business preferred.
