Job Description: As a Senior Data Governance Professional within the Data and Analytics Governance team at CoreLogic, you will be a key player in shaping our data management practices and ensuring the highest standards of data integrity, quality, and compliance. Your expertise will contribute to the strategic management of data assets, enabling better decision-making and driving business value. Below are the essential responsibilities and qualifications for this hybrid-remote role. Job Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish data standards, ownership, and accountability. Work closely with data stewards to define and enforce data policies. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). Establish end-to-end data lineage for critical business elements. Maintain a comprehensive data catalog. Leverage data governance tools (e.g., Collibra) to operationalize governance processes. Collaborate with IT teams to integrate data governance solutions. Work with data owners and stakeholders to ensure data is shared securely, consistently, and in compliance with internal policies and procedures. Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees about access management policies and procedures. Participate in the response to data breaches or other security incidents, including investigation and remediation efforts. Engage with stakeholders to understand their data needs and to facilitate responsible data sharing and usage. Identify and mitigate risks associated with data usage, including potential breaches or non-compliance issues. Maintain documentation on data usage policies, procedures, and compliance reports for auditing and regulatory purposes. Job Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology or a related field preferred or equivalent experience. 5 years of data-centric IT experience Experience with data governance tools including technical and business metadata, data quality, data profiling, and data lineage, etc. Experience with shared data and database languages such as SQL. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. A commitment to the ethical use of data. Proficiency in data policy creation, data quality control, and regulatory compliance.
