What would this role do?

As a Compensation and Benefits Coordinator at 360 Behavioral Health, you will be responsible for working with the Compensation and Benefits team and responsible for the administration of centralized benefit programs including but not limited to, Health & Welfare plans, Section 125 plans, ACA reporting, Employee Assistance Program, Retirement Plans, COBRA Administration, Compensation updates and non-occupational medical leaves and workers’ compensation.

Role Responsibilities

  • Accountable for communication of the company’s benefit offerings to all benefit eligible
  • Provide exemplary front line customers service to all levels of partners on all benefit related inquiries. Maintain the highest level of confidentiality relevant to partner information.
  • Process and maintain benefit providers website for all partner enrollments, changes and terminations including health, dental and vision insurance.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of all benefits programs.
  • Timely audits and review of all carrier invoices for payment processing.
  • Is capable of reading, interpreting, and explaining insurance invoices.
  • Manage and respond to all Time-Off inquiries for partners in UKG Workforce Dimensions.
  • Data Management – Assist the Compensation team with partner updates i.e., supervisor changes, office location transfers, some partner rate changes and all updates in UKG Dimensions for time-off and delegate updates
  • Liaise with benefits vendors and brokers to assist in resolving any Partner issues.
  • Exhibits ability to maintain relationships with insurance and healthcare providers
  • Administration of all COBRA related programs, including final paperwork and vendor system updates.
  • Open Enrollment support.
  • Ability to manage special projects as assigned.
  • Assist in other areas of Compensation and Benefits as required and provide backup assistance where needed.

NON – ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Demonstrates broad knowledge of the variety and structure of retirement plans, from 401(k) and Roth
  • Possesses knowledge of the laws surrounding benefits and compensation for employers. 
  • Demonstrates broad knowledge of different health insurance plans, including HMOs and PPOs. 
  • Exhibits solid organizational skills. 
  • Communicates clearly and effectively. 
  • Can translate legal, medical, and insurance-related jargon into layman’s terms for clarification purposes. 
  • Demonstrates ability to conduct independent research into new benefits plans and changes to insurance and healthcare regulations. 

Must Haves

  • Proven Experience as a Compensation and Benefits Coordinator 
  • Adequate knowledge of current labor rules, laws, and regulations 
  • Strong analytical skills 
  • High level of interpersonal skills when dealing with all management and partners in both written and verbal communication. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, HRIS platforms (UKG/Dimensions experience a plus) and compensation software 
  • High Scholl diploma or GED required 
  • Bachelet’s degree in Business or related field or work experience equivalent 
  • 2-3 years’ experience in Compensation and Benefits Administration.
