As a* Lead *within the Housekeeping Department you support the departments management team in ensuring the cleanliness of our guest rooms. You take a lead roll in the training of new team members, assisting with room cleanings and inspecting rooms. Responsibilities

• Sets a friendly, professional, and positive tone for the entire team to emulate.
• Assist with laundry operations and hotel room cleaning as needed based on staffing levels and occupancies.
• May assist in opening and/or closing the department and assigning rooms.
• Inspects and reports on the cleanliness of guest rooms and public space to ensure that these areas meet or exceed established cleanliness standards.
• Support our maintenance team by reporting any broken, defective or missing items.
• May provide final approval of guest room cleanliness prior to occupancy.
• Supports and communicates hotels standards for servicing of guest rooms to all housekeeping staff.
• Assists with the proper reporting, documenting and communication of the lost & found system and process.
• Assist with additional departmental functions, e.g.: monthly linen inventory, guest room and cleaning supplies inventory monitoring, deep cleaning projects.
• Greet and assist guests with a friendly smile.
