We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated House Manager to join our team in Dayton, OH.

Position Overview: The House Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a home for a non-verbal individual. This role requires a compassionate and organized individual who can ensure the well-being and safety of our client while managing staff and household activities. The individual may exhibit challenging behaviors and has a history of aggression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the home and ensure a safe and supportive environment for the client.
• Create and maintain an internal audit compliance system within the home.
• Schedule all staff and ensure a backup is available in case of call-offs.
• Answer phones and audit staff hours.
• Train staff on the Individualized Service Plan (ISP) and ensure routine cleaning protocols are in place.
• Manage and schedule staff, ensuring adequate coverage and quality care.
• Administer medications and perform health and safety checks as required.
• Coordinate and communicate with healthcare providers, family members, and other stakeholders.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of care provided.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies.
• Provide training and support to Direct Support Professionals.
• Implement and monitor behavior management plans to address challenging behaviors.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a home care or healthcare setting.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor.
• Experience with behavior management and de-escalation techniques.
• Certification in medication administration, CPR, and First Aid is preferred.
• Ability to manage and support a team of care providers.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in healthcare or social services is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
