  • Partnering with other leaders and partners in the development and implementation of key Human Capital Planning initiatives
  • Influencing and guiding plant leadership team, direct reports, and other employees in aspects such as short- and long-range planning and conflict resolution
  • Guiding the facilitation of performance management through counseling and coaching others on the processes
  • Leading and supporting recruitment and retention efforts
Your Skills And ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
  • Three (3) years of Human Resources experience in a private, public, government or military environment
  • One year (1) of Recruiting experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
  • Expertise equivalent to that which would be obtained in a master’s degree or higher in a human resources field
  • Expertise equivalent to that which is needed to obtain SPHR or PHR certification
  • One (1) year of manufacturing recruiting experience
  • Human resources experiences in a manufacturing environment
Work location: On-site (Aberdeen, SD)Travel: May include up to 5% domestic/internationalRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Responsibilities of this position may include direct and/or indirect physical or logical access to information, systems, technologies subjected to the regulations/compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws.

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $106,331 - $129,960, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
