• Salary: $55,000 to $65,000

We are working with a dynamic and rapidly expanding SaaS company specialising in providing insights on commodities. Headquartered in London, our client operates on a global scale, offering cutting-edge solutions to multiple industries. This role is based out of the Chicago office once a week and offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to significant growth within the US market.

The Sales Development Representative will join a vibrant sales team, primarily focusing on prospecting and cold calling to secure client meetings. This role is integral to building the company’s client base, with an expectation of booking 12 demos per month. The SDR will engage with potential clients, create an outstanding first impression, and develop a robust sales pipeline. This role offers a clear path to becoming an Account Executive within 18 months based on performance.

The SDR will:

• Conduct 50 cold calls per day to generate new business leads
• Schedule and secure 12 client demos per month
• Manage sales cycles typically ranging from 4 to 20 weeks
• Report directly to the Head of Business Development and collaborate closely with the Co-Founder
• Work proactively and independently in a fast-paced startup environment

Essential Skills:

• 6 months of experience in SaaS BDR/SDR roles
• Demonstrated success in meeting monthly sales targets
• Ability to engage with high-level decision-makers within organisations
• Strong pipeline management skills using CRM systems
• High-energy, team-oriented approach
