Company Details:

Performs duties to identify, advocate and pursue sales and marketing opportunities related to the promotion and sale of systems, services, products, or related technologies. This position serves as the front-line force with respect to customer contact, coordination, and correspondence.

Job Details:

 Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identifies new business opportunities. 
  • Provides input for accurate and realistic bookings forecast estimates. 
  • Develops and maintains contacts with customers. 
  • Works closely with management to develop and maintain capture and growth plans.
  • Works closely with management on bid/no bid decisions, multi-company teaming decisions, and other issues affecting probability of winning contracts.
  • Working closely with the strategy and business development group, develops marketing information used for new business proposals, solution specifications, statements of work and systems requirements.
  • Recommends application and/or modification of Company solutions to satisfy customer requirements.
  • Confers with customer technical representatives and management to determine and interpret customer requirements
  • Works Closely with management to Improve competitive position by recommending new applications of solutions, providing information on the technical development of systems, and assisting in program planning.
  • Keeps track of potential sales opportunities and marketing efforts of competitor firms.
  • Working with the strategy and business development group, participates in the preparation of the strategic plan.
  • Assists communications and public relations department in preparing display and promotional material.
  • Hybrid position #LI-hybrid

Minimum Job Requirements:

Four-year college degree, in business management, or marketing, or related plus five years of experience in support of selling services, systems and/or products. Ability to prioritize work, complete multiple tasks, and work under deadlines. Mental ability to perform analytical work. Must have excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a keen business and technical awareness. Must be self-motivated, creative and have the ability to work closely in a team environment with other departments and individuals at all levels in the organization. May be required to travel domestically and work off hours, in-line with customer requirements. Must be a US citizen, eligible for security clearance if necessary.

Desired Qualifications:

Project/program management experience is desirable. Previous experience in securing large contracts is strongly preferred.

Cubic Pay Range:

$80,000 – $124,000 benefits.

*Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographic market up to our highest geographic market.

The Cubic pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
