Responsibilities
- Assist in multifamily development projects from inception through completion, including due diligence, entitlement approvals, and design development.
- Support the assembly and coordination of design and consultant teams.
- Participate in the development of schematic designs and collaborate with the pre-construction department to transition SDs to permit sets.
- Help manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project execution.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new development opportunities.
- Maintain relationships with stakeholders, including investors, financial partners, contractors, and consultants.
- Support the execution of the company's strategy to deliver Attainable Class A and Workforce Housing within target submarkets.
- Stay current with market trends and regulatory changes to inform strategic decisions.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in real estate development, with a focus on multifamily projects preferred.
- Strong understanding of the development process, including entitlement, design, and construction phases.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management software and other relevant tools.
- Financial acumen and basic understanding of construction financing.
