Security-Residential

Position: Employee Housing Security Guard

Responsibilities:

1. Surveillance: Monitor and patrol the employee housing premises to ensure a safe and secure environment.

2. Access Control: Enforce access policies by verifying the identity of individuals entering the housing area and ensuring compliance with security protocols.

3. Incident Response: Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, or disturbances, taking appropriate actions to mitigate risks and maintain order.

4. Reporting any suspicious activities and maintaining awareness of the overall security status.

5. Reporting: Document and report security incidents, accidents, or any unusual activities, providing detailed and accurate written reports as required.

6. Communication: Maintain effective communication with residents, management, and other security personnel to exchange information and address concerns.

7. Emergency Procedures: Be familiar with and implement emergency response procedures, including fire drills and evacuation plans.

8. Customer Service: Provide a friendly and approachable presence, offering assistance to residents and visitors when needed, and addressing inquiries with professionalism.

9. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other security personnel and law enforcement agencies to enhance overall security measures.

10. Patrols: Conduct routine patrols of the property, both on foot and using assigned vehicles, to deter potential security threats and ensure a visible security presence.

11. Adherence to Policies: Enforce housing rules and regulations, ensuring residents comply with established guidelines for safety and security.

12. Maintenance Checks: Report and address any maintenance issues that may compromise security, such as broken locks or malfunctioning security equipment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in security or a related field preferred.

• Strong observational and communication skills.

• Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively to emergencies.

• Knowledge of security protocols and procedures.

• Physical fitness for patrolling duties.

• High school diploma or equivalent. Additional security training or certifications are a plus.

Note: The responsibilities and qualifications may vary based on the specific requirements of the employer and the nature of the employee housing facility.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work?

The hours and days range due to the level of business. During high season expect full work weeks with hours before opening and closing. Slower periods might result in shorter shifts and lighter workloads.
