Position Overview: As a Commercial Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of project coordination, from inception to completion. You will utilize your expertise in Procore, pay applications, submittals, project closeouts, project turnover, purchase orders, budgets, and Google Drive to ensure the seamless execution of our projects. We are seeking a critical thinker who is highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate project documentation and communication using Procore, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  • Process pay applications, change orders, submittals, and other project-related documents in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Facilitate project closeouts and turnover processes, ensuring all necessary documentation and deliverables are completed according to schedule.
  • Assist in the development and management of project budgets, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project milestones are met and quality standards are maintained.
  • Utilize Google Drive to organize and share project-related documents and resources with team members and stakeholders.
  • Act as a critical thinker, identifying potential risks or issues and offering proactive solutions to mitigate them.
  • Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail, ensuring project tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, or commensurate with experience.
  • Proven experience in commercial project coordination, with a strong understanding of Procore, pay applications, submittals, project closeouts, project turnover, purchase orders, and budgets.
  • Proficiency in Google Drive and other project management software/tools.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all aspects of work.
