As the Social Media Writer, you will: Be responsible for creating and publishing content on Capital Group’s owned social channels in the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Asia. Rewrite drafts from various writers following platform best practices and maintaining a consistent brand tone of voice. Review longer-form written content and summarize it into provocative posts suitable for social media. Craft a comprehensive content strategy outlining how to achieve Capital Group’s objectives through digital content. Adopt a continuous improvement approach to content optimization. Keep up-to-date with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and best practices. Ensure Capital Group remains at the forefront of digital engagement. Work closely with other writers, marketing teams, PR, and stakeholders. Partner with team members to maintain a cohesive and consistent message across all digital platforms. Provide source data/materials to substantiate any claims in our content. As a Social Media Writer at Capital Group, you’ll be the driving force behind our digital engagement. Understand search engine optimization (SEO) principles to optimize content visibility. Familiarity with key performance indicators (KPIs) and data analysis for content impact assessment. Manage content calendars, deadlines, and launch dates. Ensure consistent brand messaging across all content channels. 5-7 years of relevant experience with content creation, social media management, and familiarity with industry trends and best practices. Experience in a highly regulated environment, such as the financial services industry, would be advantageous. ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Los Angeles Base Salary Range: $116,974-$187,158 ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
