Job Description
Electronics manufacturing company located in Gunbarrel, CO is actively hiring for an inventory specialist, who will be responsible for the receipt, issuance and maintenance of material inventory to ensure manufacturing and product service needs are met
Duties and responsibilities:
- Stocks incoming parts, rotates stock as needed, issues parts to production and product service departments. Performs data entry to maintain accurate and current inventory records.
- Assists the shipping department by pulling supply orders, boxing for shipment and forwarding to shipping.
- Assists with performing cycle counts of existing inventory to verify accuracy of Enterprise
- Responsible for maintenance of the warehouse.
- Assists shipping and receiving departments with workload as needed.
- Must be able to safely operate a pallet jack and lift equipment to stock & issue inventory.
- Ability to climb and balance to use ladder to manage inventory.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds to stock and issue inventory.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least one year general warehouse experience.
- Inventory control experience preferred.
- Understanding and use of Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
- Flexibility with the ability to shift priorities as needed.
- Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.
