5th World Regenerative Agriculture Corporation is Hiring a Chief of Staff (CoS) Near New York, NY

Chief of Staff

5th World is looking to hire a Chief of Staff reporting directly to the CEO. The Chief of Staff at 5th World plays a pivotal role in driving the strategic initiatives and daily priorities of the company. This position serves as a key advisor and partner in managing the executive office and ensuring the seamless execution of 5th World’s mission and objectives of accelerating the world’s transition to regenerative and distributed energy, water and food systems. The ideal candidate is an action-oriented strategic thinker, results driven, proactive problem-solver, and an excellent communicator with a deep startup experience.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Collaborate with the CEO to develop and implement strategic plans.
  • Monitor the progress of key initiatives and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders and board meetings.
  • Oversee the day-to-day priorities of the executive office.
  • Manage strategic cross-functional projects and initiatives to ensure timely completion.

Executive Support:

  • Provide high-level support to the CEO, including communications, and special projects.
  • Facilitate executive meetings, including agenda setting, minute-taking, and follow-up on action items.
  • Serve as a liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders.

Team Leadership:

  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
  • Lead by example in upholding the company's values and principles.

Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Support in Business Development efforts and community building initiatives in the NY area
  • Assist in funding efforts, including preparation of pitch materials and investor relations.
  • Represent the CEO and the company at industry events and meetings as needed.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a similar role, within a start-up or high-growth environment.
  • Good understanding of the crypto industry is preferred.
  • Good understanding of the real estate and land development industry is preferred.
  • Proven track record of delivering results and fast pace environments.
  • Strong stakeholder and team management skills.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of autonomy.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Based out of NYC, The CoS will have the flexibility to work from home 50% of the time, and the remaining 50% will be at the office or visiting clients
  • Base salary: USD $110K - $170K
