A leading real estate private equity company, is expanding its investment accounting team. They manage a diverse portfolio of real estate investments comprising many assets. They are looking for a motivated accountant to contribute to our dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

• Record various transactions in the system of record for entities in the investment structure, including cash payments, interest accruals, debt amortization, real estate development transactions, fair value changes in derivative balances, and more.
• Review monthly reporting packages from third-party managers/partners, ensuring accurate data uploads and providing oversight on balance sheets, income statements, bank reconciliations, and fixed asset additions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual investment balance sheets and income statements.
• Conduct additional supporting activities, such as coding invoices for the Accounts Payable team, submitting capital draws for approval, interacting with external auditors and tax providers, and offering ad-hoc support to various teams as needed.

Requirements:

• Demonstrable Excel skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.1-3 years of progressive accounting experience.
