Primary Duties:
Plan, coordinate, and create content from idea through production to finished products (print, video, digital media) that can be shared with our stakeholders.
Primary Responsibilities:
Create storytelling marketing content including video, photo and slideshows to
emphasize 6 Stones’ positive impact on our neighbors and demonstrate that to the community.
Interview our neighbors in a trauma-informed way, respecting their humanity while telling their stories in a sensitive and engaging way.
Lead and build content creation for 6 Stones as an organization including leading
by influence, recruiting volunteer teams, and having fun while sharing the life transformational impact of 6 Stones in the community.
Uphold the 6 Stones brand. Lead and train the staff to ensure our brand look, core values, mission, and vision shine through in every marketing avenue.
Act as Liaison to Marketing Consultants, leading business partners/consultants/content creators in telling a unified story (including graphic design, video editing, daily social content, weekly emails, mail campaigns, annual reports, brochures, and ongoing fundraising campaigns).
Promote Resale business through marketing of stores, donations, and client impact stories.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in both creation and production of various forms of creative content, specializing in video and photo story crafting and unified messaging
Thorough understanding of Marketing/Communications processes, tools, techniques and best practices
Communicate ideas in a clear, concise and understandable manner, verbally and in writing
Strong leadership and creative skills
Demonstrates personal organization, planning and time management skills
Sets a high personal standard for work
Ability to effectively support and interact with all levels of management across the organization, observing confidentiality when required, while being flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and time pressures
Bachelor’s degree in Audio-Visual Arts, Marketing, Journalism or related field preferred
Computer experience including Photoshop, Adobe Suites and FinalCut Pro preferred
