We are seeking an experienced and dynamic technology leader to join Corporate and Finance Operations Technology. In this role, you will be responsible for leading both the product and engineering teams supporting these areas of the firm. Familiarity with accounting and finance technology systems is a must, and knowledge of these systems within an investment firm is highly valuable. The products being used include Oracle ERP Cloud, Wallstreet Suite, Appian, Coupa, Concur, and more. Responsibilities: 1. Leadership and Strategy: Provide strategic direction and vision for the technology organization, aligning it with the overall business objectives. Lead and manage a team of product managers and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Develop and execute a technology roadmap that supports the needs of the corporate finance and finance operations teams. Directly interface with senior stakeholders in the business including partners and managing directors. Manage a transparent and constructive dialog which allows them to be aware of resource allocation, roadmaps and prioritization 2. Corporate Finance Technology: Oversee the product and engineering teams responsible for corporate finance systems, including Oracle ERP Cloud and other related applications. Collaborate with finance stakeholders to understand their technology needs and translate them into actionable plans and solutions. Ensure the smooth operation, maintenance, and enhancement of corporate finance systems, optimizing processes and workflows. 3. Finance Operations Technology: Lead the product and engineering teams responsible for finance operations systems, including Wallstreet Suite, Appian, Coupa, Concur, and other relevant platforms. Work closely with treasury, tax, and finance process workflow teams to identify technology requirements and drive system improvements. Streamline and automate finance operations processes, leveraging technology to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. 4. Technology Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of accounting and finance technology systems, with a focus on investment firms. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in accounting and finance systems. Provide guidance and expertise to the product and engineering teams, ensuring the selection and implementation of appropriate technologies. 5. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and other business units, to understand their technology needs and deliver effective solutions. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment between technology initiatives and business objectives. Partner with external vendors and technology partners to evaluate, select, and implement third-party solutions when necessary. Requirements: 13 yrs of enterprise level product and engineering experience Proven experience in a senior leadership role, overseeing product and engineering teams. Strong background in accounting and finance technology systems, preferably within an investment firm. Preferred experience with any of the following financial technology platforms Oracle ERP Cloud, Wallstreet Suite, Appian, Coupa, Concur. Preferred experience with cloud native architectures including AWS, C#.Net, and Python. Experience working with executive level internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment between technology initiatives and business objectives. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute technology strategies that drive business value. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a dynamic environment. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (advanced degree preferred). Expected annual base salary range: $225,000 - $275,000 Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables. Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
