Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations for food and beverage
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
- Monitor customer behavior and intervene as needed to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment
- Collect payment and operate cash register or POS system
- Restock bar supplies and inventory as needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders
Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Previous experience as a bartender or server is preferred
- Knowledge of drink recipes and mixology techniques
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating bills
