Position Summary:

As a Powder PREP Operator, you will be instrumental in our production process, responsible for preparing feedstock materials to maintain the quality and consistency of powder used in additive manufacturing. Your efforts will contribute directly to optimized operations and timely product delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare feedstock materials, such as nickel and titanium, for the UniMelt® microwave plasma processing system.
  • Set up, operate, and clean screening, blending, and milling equipment.
  • Safely handle material using a forklift for internal material movement.
  • Package finished powder products according to specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of the powder produced.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines throughout the production process.
  • Manage inventory levels and report shortages or issues promptly.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to achieve production targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of production activities.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or production preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow precise instructions.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks in a demanding environment.
  • Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude.
  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping and equipment operation.

  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Willingness to learn forklift operation (training provided if necessary).
  • Willingness to work at heights over 4 feet and use fall arrest systems.
