Skipcart, the last mile delivery business unit of 7-Eleven, is a major player in Delivery as a Service for businesses. Skipcart focuses on revolutionizing convenience and delivery across the United States, providing business partners from all verticals with last mile logistics solutions through the support of local gig-economy drivers.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join our team as a Senior Manager Strategy and Operations Growth for Skipcart. In this critical role, you will report to the Director Strategy and Operations: Growth Skipcart and take ownership of two key responsibilities within the team: Delivered order volume for Skipcart and Improved profitability through revenue per order for Skipcart. You will play a key role in driving growth and profitability for Skipcart's Delivery as a Service.

Responsibilities:

• Delivered Order Volume:
  • Develop and launch new markets for Skipcart, collaborating with Sales, Business Development, and 7NOW teams.
  • Increase volume density in existing markets by strategizing with regional teams and growing volume from anchor merchants.
  • Enhance the percentage of quotes won through effective collaboration and negotiation with merchants.
• Revenue per Order:
  • Own the merchant pricing strategy, optimizing pricing to maximize quotes won and increase the profitability of orders delivered.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Business Development to set merchant pricing rules based on parameters such as distance, wait times, geography, and type of delivery.

• 3 years of experience in a leadership role with P/L and growth targets ownership, preferably in a hyper-growth tech company within the food delivery space.
• Proven track record of 7 years in consulting, strategy, technology, investment banking, analytics, or related experience, ideally within high-growth or tech businesses.
• Exceptional leadership skills, demonstrated by successfully leading and driving cross-functional initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
• Outstanding relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage with senior leadership and effectively manage multiple priorities.
• Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills, including detailed proficiency in SQL and Excel.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong preference for proficiency in dashboarding, statistical, and quantitative analysis, including Python, R, and Minitab.

Education Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a relevant discipline.
• Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or a related field is preferred.
• Additional professional certifications in strategy, analytics, or relevant areas are advantageous.
