▶ About This Opportunity

This position is part of the Wholesale Operations team and is responsible for providing project management for key initiatives in support of SEI Fuel Services’ 1,500 dealers. The project coordinator is responsible for executing projects to ensure cross functional alignment, drive and manage the teams to meet strict deadlines and achieve financial goals. Responsibilities include financial and project governance, project execution excellence and reducing risks for SEI leveraging project management principles and tools.

• Manage projects to focus on driving results, finding cost savings opportunities and efficiencies in the project life cycle while leveraging project best practices.
• Ensure project documentation is in place and remains current according to project management principles.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to align on scope, resources, define and acquire budget, and build schedule in support of strong execution.
• Manage teams to ensure the project team works together efficiently and effectively.
• Understand the details of the project to effectively manage the dependencies, and mitigate risks and issues
• Through regular cadence of reporting, ensure visibility and transparency on project progress milestones, financial governance, issues and risks.

In addition to the skills above, the Project Coordinator needs to be proficient and demonstrate the following leadership competencies:

• Ability to effectively build relationships to influence stakeholders and teams through indirect leadership, working across organizational lines and varying levels of the organization.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Education: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree, preferred
• Experience: Experience managing projects and/or leading teams
• Strong analytical skills and process improvement viewpoint.
• Strong Word/Excel/Powerpoint skills mandatory.
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills required.
• Effectively interact & influence internal & external stakeholders at all levels.
• Preferred: Familiarity with project governance and PMP ideologies
