What You’ll Do:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess resident needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
Utilize various therapeutic techniques to improve residents’ strength, balance, coordination, and functional abilities.
Educate residents and their families on safe movement strategies and home exercise programs.
Collaborate with nurses, doctors, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
Document progress and outcomes to maintain accurate medical records.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
What We’re Looking For:
Active New Jersey Physical Therapist license (DPT).
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a geriatric setting (preferred).
Strong clinical skills in evaluation, treatment, and documentation.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate and patient demeanor with a passion for working with older adults.
