Responsibilities:
- Perform activities involving continuous improvement tools, analysis of product irregularities, recommending solutions & facilitating cost-down initiatives related to improving product costs
- Assist in training & instruction of team members & provide day-to-day floor support
- Identify unacceptable performance through data gathering & analysis of product & process knowledge
- Prepare cost estimates, financially justify projects, prepare budgets, review designs, supervise installation & commissioning
- Research new equipment, systems & processes to advance plant operations on smaller projects
- Ensure safety, environmental & regulatory compliance, working with appropriate associates on EHS issues
- Assist in contractor management processes & audit contractor’s work to ensure safe practices are followed
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Manufacturing experience or related industry experience
Nice-To-Haves:
- Ability to interpret & create technical CAD drawings & schematics
- PLC skills and knowledge
- Ability to troubleshoot machine problems
