Must-Haves:

1. Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science OR Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, physical, biological science OR Associate’s degree in another discipline with documented chemistry and biology hours that satisfy CLIA requirements for high complexity testing personnel.
2. Certifications: BLS required upon hire.
3. 1 year as MT required.
4. Medical Laboratory Scientist certification by ASCP or AMT, or HEW(MT), or equivalent certification is required within one year from date of hire. Training/Certification prior to 1988 -Certification program or Military training, ASCP or HEW certification is accepted.
