Overview: Willamette Ale and Cider House

Willamette Ale and Cider house is a premier craft and cider taproom and cider production facility. This taproom is run under 7bev Corporation. We are seeking craft beer and craft cider enthusiasts with experience in the craft beverage industry. As a server at Willamette Ale and Cider house you will pour and serve alcoholic drinks to customers according to our established guidelines. Our servers will interact with our customers in a professional manner. The server will carry out all purchase transactions as well as keep a clean work environment. The craft beverage business in Oregon is growing rapidly and Willamette Ale and Cider house will carry the most premier brands of the craft beverage industry.

Primary Accountabilities:

• Manage Willamette Ale and Cider house bar area by cleaning glasses, organizing glassware, filling and canning crowlers, exchanging kegs, tracking inventory, and ensuring bar area is maintained and customers are served appropriately.
• Manage point of sale system and cash registers as purchases are made
• Answer customer questions and educate customers on different types of craft beers and ciders
• Maintain a clean environment throughout taproom by cleaning tables, sweeping, mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms, etc.

Required qualifications:

• Passion and strong interest in craft beers and ciders
• Outstanding customer service skills- Must be comfortable in starting and maintaining a conversation with customers, and ensuring they are satisfied throughout their visit.
• Strong knowledge of craft beer and cider styles, ability to distinguish and explain differences between styles.
• Abillity to work in a fast paced environment
• Proficient time management and prioritization skills
• Able to work well with others.
• Flexible work schedule.

Preferred qualifications:

• Cicerone beer server certified
• Familiar with Northwest local breweries, and knowledge of local brands.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Shift:

• Evening shift

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
