**Job Description: Barback at Café Bionda – South Loop**
Café Bionda, a lively and authentic Italian restaurant located in the bustling South Loop, is seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to support our bartending team. **Responsibilities:**
- Assist bartenders in maintaining a clean and well-stocked bar.
- Replenish bar supplies such as ice, garnishes, glassware, and napkins.
- Keep bar area clean and organized, including washing and polishing glassware.
- Ensure liquor, beer, and wine stocks are properly organized and readily available.
- Assist in the preparation of drink ingredients, such as cutting garnishes and refilling mixers.
- Remove empty bottles and trash from the bar area.
- Assist with restocking and inventory management.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any needs or requests from bartenders and patrons promptly.
- Support bartenders during busy periods by preparing simple drinks and pouring beer or wine.
**Requirements:**
- Previous experience in a barback or similar role preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
