Position Summary: The Seamstress is responsible for completing all alteration fittings and sewing services necessary to meet our employee uniform needs. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Promotes superior guest service. Maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani. Makes minor alterations and repairs to uniforms. Measures employee to determine proper size and to ensure proper fit of uniform. May press uniform and/or clean spots from garment. Services guests and team members at the counter and ensures accurate and timely completion of all transactions. Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD). Two (2) years’ commercial machine sewing experience. Two (2) years’ experience in alterations. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment. Must have seamstress/tailoring skills. Must be able to take and record accurate measurements and complete all alterations in a timely fashion. Basic computers skills. Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.
