$34.00/hour 1st Shift: 6am possible start / 6pm doors close (40 hours a week) 6-Month Contract (Contract to Permanent) Description:
Follows ITIL processes and procedures at all times
Maintains Monthly Inventory – Scan roughly 250 PCs on site, pull out of lease PCs – track and consolidate inventory from external sites.
Weekly Inventory – Count new in box units ever Tuesday
Supplies Management – Order supplies for Reclamations and Depot
Meet with Procurement, to cover issues that affect the depot and reclamations team – Provide information about Assets to help leverage ordering needs – Initiate pickup of retired pallets
Receive Supplies/Assets – Record the delivery of Supplies and Assets – Add new Assets to inventory (inform H IT procurement manager of supplies needed)
Request Queue – Work with customer to identify the device they wish to order. Obtain all necessary approvals. Inform people of equipment stock status – Track who wants future equipment.
Call Coordination – Review tickets from 4 queues on two separate systems and deploy them to the correct location including technicians, builders, or other queues.
Pull Drives for ISEC – update hard drive database and tracking spreadsheet.
Research hardware issues that can’t be resolved by builders or HP Warranty
Train – new employee, existing employee on process
Tablet Hardware – Return and Decommission Assets – Archive Hard Drive using existing defined process – Clean Assets
Answer the P-U window to provide hardware or answer questions
Receive Mail – Unbox (and distribute as needed) equipment daily (10-30 parcels daily)
Manage Healthcare PC Inventory and Support – Emails from external techs for Inventory updates, equipment requests, and troubleshooting issues.
Manage Physical Inventory – Organize in warranty and in lease devises, out of warranty in lease, out of warranty out of Lease. Build & Scan pallets of out of lease equipment.
Return and Decommission Assets – Archive Hard Drive using existing defined process – Clean Assets.
Clean and Organize Room – Supplies, PCs, and hardware
Other duties may include:
Configures, installs, repairs, and troubleshoots issues related to hardware performance on servers, mainframe equipment, network equipment, tape equipment.
Maintain the highest of standards in the data center for consistency of installations, quality and appearance of cabling, labeling, documentation, ticket and process compliance, and meet client SLAs for up time.
Performs regular walk-through of the data center noting environmental problems and system errors, making incident and change tickets, perform repairs or engages proper personnel for resolution.
Engages OEM vendors for warranty repairs, escorts, manages and assists field engineers in the data center for service calls, insuring compliance with change management, incident management and security policies and procedures.
Maintains documentation, inventory sheets, technical schematics and diagrams.
Installs, de-installs, modifies, and/or relocates hardware in the data centers consistent with job specifications and ensures schedules are met, maintaining data center standards.
Performs DOD compliant data wipes on midrange server systems.
