The Production Supervisor will work closely with Production Management to supervise employees in the manufacturing plant while fostering positive relations and culture. They will collaborate with other team members to ensure the efficiencies of manufacturing production, scheduling of resources, materials, and equipment. This position will be responsible for maximizing production and fostering a positive culture while ensuring that quality standards are met.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Evaluate each station of the production process to maintain optimum efficiency.
• Enforce all safety policies on the production floor.
• Maintain communication between management and employees to ensure that necessary policies are understood and followed.
• Ensure the flow of resources such as raw materials is maintained and that production items are delivered as needed and used properly and efficiently.
• Oversee the manufacturing process and procedures in factory production operations.
• Create and maintain the daily production schedules.
• Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the department.
• Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
• Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
• Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
• Communicates effectively and respectfully to all members of the organization.
• Collaborates with other managers and supervisors to coordinate activities in and among departments.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and best practices including those related to safety and health.
• Develops and implements procedures and strategies to ensure a safe work environment.
• Collaborates with other departmental managers to develop and execute budget.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education And Experience

• 3-5 years relevant experience within a manufacturing environment preferred
