Position Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Light Industrial Staffing Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recruiting and managing a diverse workforce within the light industrial sector. This role requires a proactive approach to sourcing, hiring, and retaining qualified candidates who meet the specific needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for light industrial positions, including but not limited to warehouse workers, assembly line operators, machine operators, and logistics personnel.
- Source candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media, networking, and industry events.
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and assess candidates to ensure they meet job requirements and cultural fit.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for current and future job openings.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their staffing needs and provide tailored workforce solutions.
- Manage the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation, training, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor employee performance and provide ongoing support to ensure job satisfaction and retention.
- Foster positive relationships with clients and candidates to enhance the reputation and credibility of the staffing agency.
- Stay informed about industry trends, labor market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting the light industrial sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in recruiting and staffing within the light industrial sector, with a track record of achieving recruitment targets and delivering quality hires.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations pertaining to staffing and workforce management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with clients and candidates.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the capacity to lead a team and drive performance in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software/tools.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple assignments simultaneously, and meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.
